Good advice if drag racing is the goal and you have time to park and ice down. Get the power first - then play with cooling.

Cheapest cooling mod for the drag strip is a potentiometer. Disconnect the plug from the IAT sensor and plug in a potentiometer. Tell the ECU your IAT's are stable @ 70*. This will prevent the ECU from pulling timing (regardless of the real temp) just be careful.

It won't matter how much meth you spray if you inject it after the IAT sensor. Once the ECU senses hot temps - it's going to protect the engine and pull timing. That's its job.
