Re: look under your hood
I put my Xfire on the lift and looked under it and was surprised with the quality. When the car was off the ground I noticed all four wheels maintained good alignment. My Corvette's rear wheels fold in at the bottom, which probably accounts for the fact that the Xfire handles better. I did find a couple of hoses or cables that were rubbing the frame probably not causing any problems but I moved them anyway because I too have a mysterious rattle in the back but minor at best. So far I haven't found anything missing like rubber plugs. I did order the service manual on CD which I hope explains a few mysteries that will crop up from time to time.
