I have not pulled the crossfire's door trim panels as of yet, but most door panels have some kind of retainer to hold the pull strap/ bar in place on the door panel, which are on the back side of the panel, check the threads, I think you are still going to have to pull the panel if you want to remove the whole pull handle assembly.
