I couldn't figure out why so many people were asking me about a turbo until I asked a guy at the end of the day why he would ask about my turbos. He said that it sounded like it had a couple of big turbos on it going down the track. It was then that it dawned on me that everyone was thinking I had a turbo(s) due to the muffler sound.

Does yours sound like that at WOT? I want to video tape the sound so I can hear what it sounds like from outside the car. I will take my camcorder with me next time I go to the track.

Ohhhh.... I also did a resonator delete at the same time.
Did you have the shop weld a 2.5" pipe to the rear of the muffler? Reason I ask, the ANSA inlet is 1 7/8" from the factory. Even at the step-up near the case, it most only be 2.25" at the MAX. If you welded a bigger pipe to the rear, even if only slightly bigger, there may still be a small lip of metal that the air is trying to squeeze through when it makes the bump from 2.5" piping to a 2.25" hole.

This lip might just be causing a whistle noise... after all, a real whistle (referee style) is only a piece of steel with a sharp edge for air to pass over.

Think this is a possibility?
