I felt a quake once, in the 80's. I lived in lower Michgan at the time. Not sure what year, but I was sitting on the ground around 8pm EST and felt something in the seat of my pants. "That is odd" I thought. I was sitting next to the St. Joe River and noticed the water was "rippel-y" and stirred up.
STILL did not get it.
Got to work next morning and a lady said,
"Hey, did ya feel the earthquake last night?"
RIght away I "Got it".
I remember one in '87. I remember feeling it a little as I was doing homework....... my glass of Mountain Dew got those "ripples".
