I agree. I'm still shooting with the 1D I bought used (it was 1 year old and the seller just purchased the "new" 1Ds). It's been a great camera and has served it's purpose very well. But it is sooo heavy compared to what's one the market today. I've been watching all the product lifecycles and have been thinking about replacing it.
I've been on the fence to pull the trigger on buying the 50D or 7D.
