When I drop something around the engine, it will get hung up somewhere down in the framework...I just take my blow gun and blow some air down it the area I dropped it...usually this will make drop to the floor...if your floor pan is still on the car, it could fall onto it....I haven't had mine off to tell you where to find bolts...but this is worth a try...hopefully, it didn't fall into the motor....good luck
