I had a feeling they modified the stock wires for the new radio... they always do. I figured putting the stock radio back in would be a beach! When I put my new stereo in I purposely bought a Blaupunkt because the wire harness was the same as our cars. That way I could just plug the stock radio back in.

If it were me I would keep the Kenwood. The stock radio sounds good but I would much rather have all the options a aftermarket radio offers. MP3 discs and aux input were the big bonus for me. I got the silver face radio to match my dash so the stereo didn't look out of place.

I can't help you on this one. There are other guys around here more able to help you. As for your woman... you should have known better That is why I am always prepared. More so because I would hear about it for the rest of my life. She forgets the good things I do but the bad things are always locked away in the vault! And they do come out to haunt me!
