Unhappy Re: maf cleaning

sooo i called the shop in which i take my car in, not the dealership. they advised me to leave the sensor alone and asked me if i had a cel? i said no and they told me if im having any hesitation or what not its probably the fuel filter. soo i returned the shop towels and the maf cleaner today and instead bought a car wash. ive been reading up on all this stuff. so apparently when you clean and re-oil your kn filter its recommended to clean the maf sensor, which is exactly what i wanted to do. but then some people say you better have a replacement incase **** hits the fan. im the kind of person who likes to do something before there is a problem. my crossfire had 67k miles on it i use nothing but v-power and oil change every 3k with a synthetic blend. it eats better than i do. but i still really want to get it cleaned i hate not knowing if something is dirty.
