Savage is South of Owings Mills and a little North of Laurel.
Yes Savage is about 10 to 15 minutes north of where I live. Its about a 9 1/2 hour drive from where you are staying and normally I leave on Thursday but I think this time I may leave on Friday and come back on Monday. I'll be leaving 4:00AM to 4:30AM in the morning so I can get up there with daylight and some afternoon left in the day so if your an early riser and want to cruise together to the Dragon just PM me with your Phone number and I'll give you a call and set everything up.
