I'm running the summer Michelin Pilot Sports on mine (like option #2 in the original post) and they were NOT fun in the snow and ice.
My car is a daily, so I have come to accept the fact that sacrificing .05 lateral cornering G's is not the end of the world, if it means staying ON the road altogether between November and March.
Just keepin' it real, folks... haha.
Besides, even though I don't have the SRT, I still have WAAAY too much traffic and WAAAAY too little open road to wring out the performance of even the lowly N/A motor... So I know I'd REALLY be frustrated in the SRT.
Murfreesboro traffic is absolutely maddening anytime between 4 and 9pm (when I'm off work, LOL).
I'm gonna give these a shot when my Michelins die. Won't be too much longer...
