Something I'm kicking around is a little more wilder, not power-wise, but I guess from an engineering standpoint??? I've got a lead on a Volvo (Yamaha) V8. It's 4.4L of displacement and 32 valves. Because they're front mounted with a transverse style auto trans, I lose out on my stick. With the fuel tank right behind the seats and acting as a strength member I'd say that a full cage with some sort of integrated cradle for the engine to be laid out like an Audi R8. These motors are wayyyyy de-tuned, because of Volvo's hardon for safety (safe=slow to them) I have to replace a balance shaft in one so the whole motor is coming out and I will be taking measurements while out of the S80.
