I'm still in the early (read: very very very early) stages of planning for an engine swap. Won't be on my current SRT, but most likely ono a second xf I pick up.

I'm sourcicng a 55k motor to put in. Should fit nicely (thanks to already seeing the N/A version go in) So it will all be to tuning and such. Should be a nice swap, however it will be a) about a $25k swap not including the donor car and b) a multi year swap as the plans sit right now...

Can't wait though. Several E55s are running in the high 10s right now. They weigh over 1000lbs more than the SRT. Should me for some fun times. I'm hoping for a 500lb savings when it is all said and done (read: new trans, rear, engine heavier, etc)

That's all I'll babble on about it until I actually get it up and running. Hope to have a donor car and the engine out by the end of this year... We'll see though.
