that is always the problem with building cars...when I was in my twenties working nights managing gas station, I had access to everything I needed to do the work. I would work the day shift, take a few hours off, then work 6 hrs at the station...so I could get in some work on my days off...you have to do a lot of the work yourself, or it gets out of hand on cost. If you have to hire it all done, well, hell, why not just buy a fast car. Doing it yourself is part of the fun, and the challenge...to build something unique....
