It's easier to learn the handling characteristics with crappy tires. With sticky tires you have so much grip that it takes longer to learn what works and what doesn't. Not to mention how much cheaper with normal tires. If I had a non SRT, I would get the springs and sways from a SRT and good adjustable shocks to start with. The school really should be first but we all know how the car bug works. With adjustable shocks you can get the push out of the front of the car. It will take some experimenting but it can be done.
