Default Re: Parts and Labor Cost

Parts will tend to be more expensive than traditional Chrysler parts, based upon supply and demand and the fact that most of them will have to be imported (like the car) from Germany. There are very few American made parts on these vehicles, so parts prices will tend to be higher than "normal." I cannot speak directly to Mercedes parts, since I have never owned a Mercedes automobile...I'm sure others on this forum can provide more information regarding that comparison.

Hourly labor prices will vary greatly from dealer to dealer and location. The hourly rate at the dealership will not be any higher than having a "regular" Chrysler product serviced there, but most dealerships will have only one or two certified Crossfire technicians available to service the vehicle. As you can find on this forum, dealership service and customer satisfaction can vary greatly depending upon the complaint and the individual dealership. Personally, I have had nothing but positive dealership service experiences with my Crossfire, but others on this forum have had less success.

The information above is my opinion only, but I hope you find it helpful...

Fritz
