Default Fuel Mod Update

Okay it looks like Rob has got the cure for running lean at least with a 181 pulley I cannot speak for the 185 crowd but I think this would be a big step forward for them. I have my system just about dialed in now so that the leanest it gets is 12.5 AFR it is still a little rich on the bottom end but do to my tune I think it will only be fixed by a retune. We will see.

This was accomplished by a fuel pressure regulator that is tied to boost so for every pound of boost you get an additional pound of fuel. we control the fuel pressure boost using a ztronic hooked up to a pair of solenoids that open and close set at a specific rpm so that you are not getting to rich on the bottom end. The reason for 2 solenoids is that you need to vent the pressure to keep your fuel curve flattened out. The final fix in this odyssey was a Walbro fuel pump from Rob I went from mid 13's afr to 12.0afr and had to dial back my pressure from 70psi to right at 65. I am still tweaking everything but it is looking really good. Once I get done setting everything I will just need to get a new dyno tune to lean the bottom end out a little and life should be great. Then I can start thinking about Meth will the madness never end.

Last friday at OSW I ran back to back 12.345 with a 1.701 60ft and my fuel curve is better today than it was friday so tomorrow night should be fun.

I cannot say enough about Rob and how he has worked so closely with me to help get this fixed I know at times I have been a huge pain in his *** but he has just kept on going. Thanks Rob for all of your support.
