Very important. The system may have to be resynchronized if the transmitter is without voltage for several minutes. To synchronize, aim the tramsmitter eye on the remote at the vehicle and briefly press the Lock or Unlock button twice. Within approximately 30 secs, insert the key in the ignition and turn it to the ON/RUN position. The remote should be operational.
A ha, I could have found a discrepency. I always inserted the key in the ignition BEFORE I pressed the unlock/lock button twice, then turned the car to on/run.
I will try it again this afternoon by pressing lock/unlock prior to inserting the key in the ignition... hmm wonder if that will do it. (yes, both batteries ar CR2025, though I can't remember if I replaced both of them when I replaced them a couple months ago)
