Default Re: Dangerously close to taking the leap from Limited to SRT-6 - opinions needed

Having changed from the N/A to the SRT myself, I have to say I regret nothing. IMO they are two completely different cars each with their positives and negatives. However, the SRT is a one-of-a-kind car (or should I say 2944-of-a-kind) that turns heads even more than the N/A. You will rarely see another SRT unless you seek them out, and people are always giving your car (or you) the once over.

It is a fantastic machine, improved even more by modifying it to add a little more performance...seems like the bit of modifying puts it right where it needs to be.

Best SRT moment for me has probably happened to quite a few people. At the track after your first pass, hearing loads of people go "what the hell was that" after you knock out a low 12s run....priceless.

...on a different note...

I will be down in the VA area this weekend. If you wanted someone to tag along to the dealer I'd be more than happy to help (assuming its close to where I'll be)... or if you want a ride in mine I will be more than happy to oblige...though I have a feeling that will send you into the black hole to visit the mad hatter and you will not be able to stop thinking about getting a SRT

The Eurocharged guys will be in VA this weekend doing tuning if you wanted to stop by there should be a couple SRTs there as well as a few MBs.

Here is where it is:

Function Tuned
23571 Pebble Run Dr., Unit 145
Dulles, VA 20166

Send me a PM and let me know if you want to get together. Good luck with the shopping.

EDIT: Looks like it is about 40miles from the shop to the dealer...not too bad.
