I did a lot of research and concluded that they are likely to be the best low dust pads at normal temperatures , i.e. standard road use, not competition, for standard disks. On the EBC site you can see graphs of effectiveness versus temperature for their various products, mostly work best at higher temperatures, i.e. after heavy use.
Cheers for the info Paul. I've decided I'll go with the Rotex and as I'm not in any particular hurry for them I'll source them from a US Dealer. Unless I visit the States in the near future where I'll buy them and bring them back in my suitcase. (Work maybe sending me back to Chicago to visit a Power Plant).
