Thank you all for the input. I will post here once I take the test drive. I believe that in my position, being that I am young and in certrain respects naive, wanting more power doesn't seem all too far off base. I understand some members would prefer the manual transmission with a less powerful engine because you truly do feel in tune with the car. That being said, I am in love with the idea of owning a sleeper car, admired by those who know its markings but ignored by those who do not, as well as the knowledge that although I choose not to, my car could burn most of the cars on the road.
