Let me know if you end up doing this. I have an AEM FIC8 sitting on the shelf looking for a good home that I'd sell for $450. It was installed in a car for a day and then the guy I instaleld it for found a stand alone so he ended up going that route. The FIC would let you do MAF simulation so you can get rid of the MAF completely, has an onboard MAP sensor, can control the fuel and spark tables and it's really easy to use and make small on the fly changes. I even have a little cheat sheet I made up when I did my little project to help make wiring it into the car a breeze.
