I have an XM radio XMP3 player, which is the portable XM radio. I have a kit in my daily driver that lets you plug it in when you want to use it, and then take it with you when you get out.

I want to have this feature in my crossfire. Should I just get another car kit and hook it up in the crossfire with the stock radio, or since it has to come apart should I upgrade the head unit at the same time?

I know there are instructions on here somewhere for radio replacement, but has anyone installed one of the XM car kits? Where did you mount the antennae? I have a roadster.
