You have about four quarts that are sitting in your pan. The rest is in your TC so by putting it in DRIVE for a bit then REVERSE, and cycle a few times the TC will drain.

Note: I should have done a proper "flush" instead of running the fluid out, but I really just wanted to see if it fixed my "shifting while accelerating" problem.
