Smile Re: Clearing DTC's with OBDII

Removed the brake, brake wear and engine lite dtr's with my OBDII scanner. Still had the ABS, BAS/ESP lite on. Read the manual about you can clear with DBRIII or disconnect the battery. In the small print it mentioned more than one trip might be needed.
So I disconnected/reconnect my battery and took it for a ride. at 25MPH the three went off and all have stayed off. One issue corrected with the codes in place the Shift into gear was heavy. With the 1st three codes eliminated the shift was normal.

The only thing left is the spoiler and it appears to be the panel switch that does not wring out. looks like a bear to get the radio out with out the right tool.

If your checking circuits in the system, the limits switch signal is a ground not an open that triggers the BCM to stop the spoiler both up and down.

I have externally run the motor both ways and checked it out both ways.
