I feel, sometimes, like I spend all my time with 21 three year olds.
When I was 21 the first time I figured by 63 I would be retired, fishing & wasting away my days. It was my first birthday with Cathy and she told me getting old was required but growing up was not.
When I was 21 the second time, I worried way too much about my future, money, and my health. Again, I was with Cathy and she promised to stay with me even if I got sick and feeble. We were already poor.
When I was 21 for the third time, today, I had Cathy again by my side and came to the revealation that our life has been a great ride.
She was right all along.
So I promised her to never grow up.
I hope she takes it well.
