Default Tire Inflation Pressure

I was checking the inflation pressures of the tires on my cars this past weekend. Weather here in SC has started to warm up over the past week or two, with temperatures climbing to the upper 60's, sometimes the lower 70's. What I noticed was that nearly all of my tire sets were over-inflated by a pound or two. Stands to reason as checking tire pressures after driving for awhile will always show 2-3 pounds higher readings with temperature increase.

So if you've been keeping your tires properly inflated during the winter season, make sure you check and adjust as the weather moves into summer conditions. Otherwise your tires could be over-inflated and cause unusual wear. FWIW
