and tongue, you could have a pretty heavy trailor with a relatively low longue weight.....
the hitch is basiclly drilled into the floorpan and bolted on. so as the trailer bucks as they all do it puts a lot of stress on the metal. over time this could be an issue if you constantly pull heavy loads.
the car really isnt designed to pull trailers at all. it can be done but to be safe and not cause damage the lighter the better
