. My cousin has 35 on his car and it looks good, and is legal here.. That's what I'd go with if I were to tint my car.

Nothing aftermarket for tint here is legal. You are allowed a minimum of 70% light transmittance, and considering the windows have tint from the factory, any tint becomes illegal.
Police here carry tint meters, and especially on roads like the turnpike will stop you for tint. You have two choices after your ticket, scrape it off, or have the car towed.
Most interesting is it applies to out of state cars as well.
