So let me get this straight, you had a 225/30-20 on the front and there were no issues? And now with 225/35-20s there is minimal rubbing??

I only ask because I am running 225/30-20 up front and with my backspace/offset and a stock suspension, I have to use 10mm spacers in the front to keep from rubbing.

I would be very interested to see a picture of the wheels and how they look in relation to the wheel well, also, a picture from behind the wheel to see how close it is to the bottom suspension nut.
