That's the point I was trying to make in my #14 post. It's futile to compare two cars that have been "modded". How they perform right off the showroom floor "from the factory" is the only "apples to apples" comparison that matters. Everything else is irrelevant.
That being said, I decided to do a little research and this is what I came up with.

Toyota Supra Turbo Road Test results.

0to60 mph. 5.0sec. 1/4 mile 13.5sec. slalom 66.0 mph. R&T 3/93

0to60 mph. 5.3sec. 1/4 mile 13.7sec. 105.0 mph. R&T 2/94

0to60 mph. 5.4sec. 1/4 mile 13.5sec. 106.6 mph. M T 3/93

0to60 mph. 4.9sec. 1/4 mile 13.4sec. 106.7 mph M T 7/93

0to60 mph. ______ 1/4 mile 13.8sec. 106.0 mph. C&D 9/03

0to60 mph. 4.6sec. 1/4 mile 13.1sec. 109.0 mph. C&D 3/93

Crossfire SRT6 Road Test results in Sport & GT magazine 1995.

0to60 mph. 4.8sec. 1/4 mile 13.3sec. 107.5 mph. slalom 67.6 mph.

I wish I could find some more magazine road tests for the SRT6 for comparison. But with 11 different magazines articles to choose from, all but one was on the NA Crossfire.
It looks to me that when the two cars are lined up side by side, it boils down to a drivers race, at the drags and on a road course. But it should be pointed out that the Supra attained its #'s riding on 235/45 & 255/40-17" tires respectively.
But even though the Crossfire has bigger tires, it's 3.07 gears are a little taller than the Supras 3.27's.
Sounds like the two cars are pretty evenly matched to me. But then what do I know, I'm just an "old f__t" to the tuner boyz.
