Default Re: Some a**hole wants to race me

If I am reading the information correctly, the most powerful configuration has 150kw at 5600rpm. That equates to 205.5hp. And, it has 296Nm torque at 3200rpm, which would equate to 218.31 ft. lbs. of torque. The Crossfire has 215hp, and 229 ft lbs of torque. So, based on this, you have the edge in hp and torque even if he has the most powerful engine option. He would have a weight advantage. His - 2843 lbs. Crossfire - 3061.

Without knowing anything about the Holden 86 Berlina, I would say it would be a close race. I do not own an NA, but I think an 04 Crossfire stock should run low 15s in the quarter. So you should have the advantage. It is definitely not a 7 second 1/4 mile car. LOL

Your link supports this, as his car is a 15.6 or 16.7 second car in the 1/4 mile:

Commodore Berlina 3.0 litre five speed manual transmission:
1st: 62 km/h
2nd: 107 km/h
3rd: 157 km/h
4th: 186 km/h
5th: 187 km/h
0-100 km/h: 9.2 seconds
Standing Quarter Mile (400 metres): 16.7 seconds

Commodore Berlina 3.0 litre "Turbo" five speed manual transmission:
1st: 53 km/h
2nd: 91 km/h
3rd: 139 km/h
4th: 190 km/h
5th: 223 km/h
0-100 km/h: 7.6 seconds
Standing Quarter Mile (400 metres): 15.6 seconds

Sounds like your ******* friend is full of **** to me.
