From when I talked to him, I believe that he said that the main difference was that the X pipe smoothed the tone out quite a bit, as the exhaust flowed better. As far as performance goes, I still think that it is going to take installing headers to reap much benefit from the other exhaust mods.
Thanks Bob, I think the way Steve did it was put straight pipes in place of his cats and replaces the H pipe with an X pipe.
I just dont want to loose performance, its just when I'm running the q/mile the sound of it feels like its struggling, I 100% agree about headers but I'm going to wait till someone, somehow makes long tube, I'm sure it will happen just a matter of when!
Any plans of going to the track Bob? get into those elusive 11's!
