Actually the CTS-V is only 300lbs lighter, and has a power to weight raito of 9.6785, and the SRT-8 has one of 9.8588, the SRT-8 also has more torque. That slush box is the same one used in the its AMG MB couterparts, the transmission is not the problem, the those extra few lbs are.
The CTS-V is the better handler hands down, it pulls as much G's as a Crossfire, now thats impressive. The more I think about it, I think that is going to be my next car. CTS-V rocks, especially with the huge aftermarket for it. Don't be suprised when you see a stock one run 12's. As it is bound to happen. And especially with caddy resale value lol. Buy one for 25k a year from now. They are as bad as teh crossfire, the SRT-6 will be tempting if they drop like crazy like the regular crossfire. Though that auto only kills it.
