The Trail of Texas Bluebonnets
which I believe in our neck of the woods would be around late March to early April. Could this be the beginning of a discussion at the March GTG for the April GTG.
The article in
Texas Highways
shows routes near Amarillo (Llano Estacado), Beaumont (Upper Coast), Brackettville (Nueces River Valley) and Lampasas (Heart of the Hill Country). Two of these areas might be within striking distance of us:
Nueces River Valley

Garner State Park

= Concan -> Garner State Park via -> #83 to Leakey -> #337 to Camp Wood -> 334 to Brackettville & Fort Clark Springs -> #674 to Rocksprings -> to #55 to Camp Wood
