You could keep the gauges from the crossfire if you wanted to. just be a matter of fitting the replacements and getting one that went up to 160MPH and was a 270° sweeping face. same with the tach, the fuel and the coolant temp gauges. If you want to keep the stock heater controls, the body control module has to stay. I think it would be really easy to retain most of the electronics you need to keep the cluster if you found a wrecked manual that you could swap out the ECU, BCM, and key fob with. You wouldn't even need to tear the dash apart then, jsut switch the blade of the key with the one from the donor car and you're set. Knock you the CAN signals to the ESP/YAW sensor so you don't have any of that, knock out the dummy lights you never want to see, wire up resistors to the factory wiring for the coils and injectors and then just tap into the new engines timing signal for RPM and run that to the Crank MAG inputs.
