The lower stripes are simply and aesthetic mod... no real heritage, rhyme, or reason. I like the way they look, but they won't be going on my vehicle.

As for Karmann logos, our Crossfires are manufactured at the Karmann plant in Wilhelm, Germany. Same as some older M-Benz models and the Karmann-Ghia VW back in the day.

So, we have Mercedes guts, Karmann body, and Chrysler claims all the glory with a few wing badges.

Kinda unfair, but then again, most people end up de-badging anyways.
