Default Rotex Gold and C-Tek brake pads

Looking for Rotex Gold pads I came upon this article in a forum.
C-Tek vs Rotex Gold - brake pad performance comparison - Chrysler 300C Forum: 300C & SRT8 Forums
A previous post by 70GT6 in another thread on this forum said that these pads were made in Canada and the photo in the attachment shows ta-da "Made in Canada" on the box of the Rotex and C-Tek pads.
This article states that C-Tek pads and Rotex Gold are the same, just differently branded. Centric appears to be the manufacturer of these pads.
C-Tek pads are reported to be cheaper than Rotex Gold. Some sites have C-Teks really cheap but I suspect that there are different compositions under that brand name. I am checking it out, see the following site for Centric brands, Posi Quiet is on it.
Centric pad brands are here, no Rotex Gold listed- strange.
Centric Friction (Brake Pads) (C-Tek, Posi Quiet and Centric Premium pads)
Centric Brake Pads - Posi Quiet, Axxis, Centric Premium, C-Tek, OE (Posi Quiet descriptions and others)
Performance Brake Pads (11 brands listed for available sizes)
Rotex Brake Pads - The No Black Dust Brake Pad - Rotex Gold, Silver, Severe Duty (Rotex descriptions)

I still think that what was actually made in Canada was probably just the box or even just the label, I'm a cynical bar steward.
EDIT: This last statement is not true, they are made in Canada as a member of this forum went there and saw them.
