I've been a member here since Nov. '08. I bought the car, then found this site a month later. I've not posted as often as others do, but I'm on here daily reading something about our little gems. Between simple cosmetic mods, to fixing the CPS, to what kind of tires are best, to how to install a radio, everything I've done was explained by one of the forums members here. I helped out when Julian needed funds to keep this site open, and would do so again if asked. I'm also a member of CICCI for no other reason than to help in the long run. Having known a guy that had a MG roadster and his talks of being able to get parts for the car long after production, was in his words "due to the efforts of the clubs". If not for the efforts of "our" club members, the Crossfire might go the way of the Dodo bird. Parts are already hard to find. If by joining the Club, my few dollars each year as a member, can help in extending the time I can enjoy the ownership of this little car, then I will keep paying my dues, GLADLY! As stated before, many CICCI members are on here daily as well as on the "Club" site. We all share a love for these cars, from the fanatical "Engine Heads" to the hardline "Track Racers" to the everyday "Daily Drivers". We all benifit from the efforts of .Org and CICCI. Join and help both if you can, but please don't put down the people who give a lot of themselves and their time to make BOTH a great place to come and read about our Crossfires.
Just my .04 cents.
