Sounds like the radiator coolant bottle lid is too high bottle may not be down far enough (snapped into place with rubber grommet) maybe someone had it out at sometime and did not get it snapped back in,,,,but I have never heard of this problem either Strange Take some pictures and post so we can take a look I would like to see what is going on with your hood
