Default Gear Shift Problems

Hello everyone, it's been a few monthis since my last listing but guess what, I still have the same gear shift problem that I had a week after I purchased my Crossfire. As a matter of fact, it happened to my wife twice since my last post. In November/December she was shifting to reverse & the gear shift ****, rubber boot & plastic cover came off in her hand. Luckly she wasn't in traffic. Then it happened again just last week when she shifted from reverse to lst gear. The gear shift came out in her hand, similar to what happend to me last year. Fortunantly the only damage to the car this time was two damaged right side wheels & her frayed nerves. Of course I immediately took it to the dealer and yes they replaced the entire gear box assembly again but will not take responsibility for the wheel damage. If you remember the last time it happend to me I had right side body damage because as the shifter came out in my hand, the car drifted into a parked truck. The cost was $1,200 and after a little battle, Chrysler fixed it at no cost to me. Because this is the third time it happend I asked the dealer to take the car back & replace it with a new one with a auto shift rather then manual. They refused even though I pleaded that it was now becomming a safety issue and I don't want this car. I took the car home but immediately contacted a lemon law firm to follow thorugh with the manufacture because they gave me the run-around & phone hang-ups. As before, I ask if anyonw out there has experienced a similar problem?
