There are some pretty smart people here, so I am sure that we will see it done before too much longer.
I have always claimed things which were unrealistic to even my best friend and i was laughed at a lot due to my claims and i backed every single one of them to this date.
I said i could run a 12 second in a stock LS1 trans am and people were like, good luck, it aint happening and i ran a 12.98. (magazines ran mid 13s)
i said i could run a low 13 second run in an 06 GT in 2006 (at the time everyone was running 14s and some were running high 13s) but people were like, dude those things are high 13s, low 14s cars. and i went and ran 13.4 on a hot day with 2 weeks behind the wheel of that car. To this day i claim that i can run a 13.2 easy with one. (magazines ran 13.7-13.8)
I claimed that I could run at least a 12.7 or 12.6 with my stock 03 cobra and i ran a 12.70 even after i let the gas go twice due to massive wheelhop (magazines ran 12.9)
then i modded the cobra and other cobra drivers with the same mods as me were running low 12s high 11s. I one day posted on an online board that i thought i could run an 11.4 or quicker with it and it was biggest BS calling thread ever, i was given hell. The next week i went and got me an 11.34 timeslip which stopped a lot of people.
I actually have a video of that run, here:
YouTube - 2003 cobra
and many many street racing includes but i will keep them to myself
I dont want to brag but I claim that a full bolts on N/A on a cool nice air will go 13s. However, this is something i will not be able to back up because it costs way too much to mod these things so i will stay as a bench racer on this
For the love of god, somebody go do it!!
