Jane, to be perfectly honest with you, I don't have a clue what could have happened. But I can tell you with certainty the 2º negative camber is not too much. As a matter of fact I run 2º negative camber on the drivers side and 2.29º negative camber on the passenger side. (more left turns than right turns) I also have 2º negative camber in the rear.

Possibly something could have been left loose by accident or something simply broke. I'm sure it will be obvious to your mechanics. Steering failures are usually visually easy to identify.
