It's not the clutch.......

If you had the clutch out (foot off it) and pushed all the way down on the accelerator pedal and the car stood still while the engine redlined, it would be the clutch. You have the opposite problem.



It's not the MAF......

The engine needs air to go to redline. The MAF is just a sensor. It could possibly be the throttle body, but definitely not the MAF.


I'd try the throttle reset procedure first since it's free, then I'd start looking into the electronics.
