Re: Help with descision to buy
The only Chrysler product I've evr had any problem with was a 2001 Concorde I bought in late 2000. The engine blew (seized) about 2 1/2 years into it. I had just crossed the 36k mile threshold for warranty. Chrysler tried to blame it on oil sludge, until I showed them that every oil / filter change had been done at or within 50 miles of 3000 miles. Then they only would 'share' the cost of engine replacement (which cost me a little over $2K) and then before I ever got a chance to do the 1st oil change with the replacement engine, it did the SAME THING. So I forced them to buy the car back and got the employee cost on a Town and Country with an extended warranty thrown in with it. Other than that, I've owned SEVERAL Dodge / Chrysler products. The Xfire is the cats *** so far....
