I looked at a blue 05 here in town but the front looked like it had taken a beating with 70,000 miles. Anyway, excited about the car and any input would be great. Oh, its a base model(which I like with the blacked out trim)

As an owner that beats on his '07 base coupe with currently 31,000-ish miles on it, who also drives it year round, even in the snow, I can say that you more than likely will not be disappointed with the coupe you're looking at. I would check it out before you buy it and see how it runs, go through the steps you would with any used car purchase, but base coupes are possibly the most fun XF's: none of that autostick nonsense that the SRT's have to deal with, none of the electronics problems (i.e. the heated seats) that the limited's have to deal with, just pure base fun.
