Something to think about.

I am currently trying to get a minor (I hope minor) transmission problem fixed (vibration and noise). I went to the dealer the first time but the ONLY XF mechanic had an emergency and had to leave. I was told to come back the following Monday. That Monday, BTW a 42-mile drive, I found that he had gone on vacation. I should have called first. I had a firm but calm discussion with the manager. During the conversation he warned me that they do not stock any parts what so ever for the XF and that if it needed a part it might take a week or better to get it fixed but they would supply a rental car at no cost.

To me this car is more of a toy, which I love, than primary transportation.
