I know a little about MB engines. I work for a Mercedes dealer parts dept. We've got an enthusiastic performance oriented client base. I don't know of any other dealers with the same number of AMG models on the lot. We've been buying the SL 65s, CL 65s, S 65s, and lots of various AMG models from MBUSA and other dealers.

Anyway, I know that these little engines are fairly stout and will take some punishment before the surrender.
Boost is good, just don't go too far. If you really want to push it, you'd better have a good intercooler and/or water/alky injection.
