Default rear tire wear

I have a Oyster Gold 2007 Crossfire limited coupe. Replaced the Conti-all Weather tires that came on it at 25,000K, odd thing was rear tires were much more worn than front. Bought new Hancook Ventus V-12 about 10,000 miles ago and upon checking it appears rear tires wearing out much faster than front again.

I check tires constantly and keep correct pressure.
I'm only driver, and as far as I know rear tires have never spun.
Much driving is smooth highway.
My wife and I are average sized people and we don't overload it.

Any ideas? I always understood the front tires would wear out faster as a rule??

Thanks very much, Steve
