I experenced the same problem with General xclaim Tires on my 6 ,I got a whole 11,000 miles before the centers where wore out ,I also watched the tire pressure and didn't spin the tires a lot , The Tire dealer told me it was because of the soft compound of the tires and the extra torq of my car , He told me the torq just from pulling out would wear and break down the softer compound tires quicker , fRONT tires still look new I put nitto 555's on the rear now,,,we will see how they fair
